PROOF OF ADDRESS:

What is the aim of the PROOF OF ADDRESS? Is to catch criminals. I think  sometimes some of the fishes not intended to be caught, get into the fishing net.

Every time I need a Data bundle from the service providers, I need a PROOF OF ADDRESS. But I have not received any letters to have my address on it. Who does it in this new age?

If I don’t have one, consequently, I am also not going to get my DATA BUNDLES. The “ricking” of sim cards does not work either. I have received calls of people being convinced, when calling that the number they were calling was the right number but the recipient was wrong.

I have been staying in Germany for 23 years and I saw a perfect way to deal with criminals. Every time you leave your place of residence for more than three months, you need to declare to the city council the OLD ADDRESS with the NEW ADDRESS, EVERY TIME IT HAPPENS.

Moral of Story: For stats & control and eventually crime prevention it is an effective approach by the Germans.
